How to reconcile payments for PayPal and GoCardless

Navigation: Financials > Payment Reports > Transaction reports

Reconciling transactions for PayPal and GoCardless 

Step 1: In LoveAdmin, go to Financials > View Reports > View transaction report for activity period​

 Step 2: Export data from LoveAdmin to Excel​

 Step 3: Export transaction report from PayPal or GoCardless​

 Step 4: Combine the two exported files together in one spreadsheet, ensuring that the Transaction ID's are aligned in the same column

 Step 5: Apply a filter to the columns

 Step 6: Go to Data Validation > Highlight duplicates​

 Step 7: Sort the Transaction ID column by colour. Any transaction ID not highlighted has not been reconciled.

Reconciling GoCardless payments against bank statements

 Step 1: In LoveAdmin, go to Financials > View Reports > View transaction report for activity period​

 Step 2: At the bottom of the table, the total value of the Net Amount is the number to compare against the GoCardless payments received in your bank account for the same period​

Step 3: For more detailed reconciliation, export the data from LoveAdmin (Financials > View Reports > View transaction report for activity period​)

Step 4: In the exported spreadsheet, sub-total the Net Amount for each Pay-out ID

Step 5: Cross reference these sub-totals against the Pay-out ID reference and credit on your bank statement
