Navigation: Email > Sent Emails
To remove the block on an email sent to a contact, follow the steps below:
Step 1: When in the contact’s record, hover over ‘Contact – Actions’ and select ‘Email history’.
Step 2: Once in ‘Email history’, select the tickbox next to the email you wish to remove the block from.
Step 3: Next, click ‘Remove block’ located above the sent emails table.
Step 4: Once you have clicked ‘remove block’, the email block will be removed from that contact.
Please note – if the next email sent to the contact also does not deliver, the block will be reinstated and will need to be removed again.
We reinstate the email block so that the system does not continually send emails to an email address that will not accept them as this makes the emails sent from our system appear like spam.
Once you have completed the above steps you will have successfully removed the email block on a contact.
Alternatively, follow the steps below to remove an email block en masse.
Step 1: Hover over ‘Email’ then click on ‘Sent Emails’.
Step 2: Once in ‘Sent Emails’, you will be able to see the number of emails sent and how many were delivered. Typically, if there is a differentiation between these numbers then those emails will have been blocked.
To see which contact(s) did not receive the email, click ‘View Report’ on the right-hand side.
Step 3: When in ‘View Report’, you will be able to see the statistics for the delivery of the email. Included in this is the amount of emails that were blocked.
By clicking on the number in the ‘Blocks’ column the software will bring back a list of all the people whose emails were blocked.
Step 4: A list of all the people whose emails were blocked will appear beneath the reporting table. Here, you can tick the tickboxes on the right-hand side of the page and then click ‘Remove Block’ to remove the email block on each contact, either en masse or individually.
Step 5: Once you have clicked ‘Remove Block’, the email block will be removed from the contact(s).
Please note – if the next email sent to the contact(s) also does not deliver, the block will be reinstated and will need to be removed again.
We reinstate the email block so that the system does not continually send emails to an email address that will not accept them as this makes the emails sent from our system appear like spam.
Once you have completed the above steps you will have successfully removed the email block for multiple contacts.
