Follow these steps to delete a contact from your system.
- Go the Contacts menu > Master Contact List
- Ticket the box beside the contact(s) you wish to delete
- Go to Actions > Delete (Step 1 of 2)
You will then be presented with four options. Choose the option that is most appropriate for you.
Important note - Once you have marked a contact as deleted, you cannot restore their contact directly through the user interface. On the occasion that a contact has been marked as deleted accidentally, please contact the support team for require assistance.
The deleted contacts will initially be marked red and moved to the system group, Contacts with data deleted.
To permanently delete the data
Important note - Please consider this step carefully, as permanently deleting a contact will remove all associated payment history. No data after this point can be recovered.
- Go the Contacts menu > System Groups > Contacts with data deleted
- Ticket the box beside the contact(s) you wish to delete
- Go to Actions > Delete (Step 1 of 2)
- Choose the option that is most suitable
